| Wow that's really cool. I cut my spike after reading they can flower a second time, and it's starting a new one! I'm so excited! I would be really thrilled if mine had 3 blooms! I'll let you know if it does, but right now I'm on my first "second" bloom. Never had one before and it worked on the first try! |

| I am sorry that no one saw this the first time around. Keep an eye on the health of the plant if it trying to flower that much, especially if it had lost most of the roots. An orchid can flower if extremely stressed or near death so that it can attempt to carry the species on. If the plant is healthy, then enjoy the blooms. If the plant appears to be weak, then cut the spike so the plant can concentrate it's energy on growing new roots and getting stronger.

| Yes, that happens with my other plants. When under stress they will force out more flower and drop leaves. I have a great fruit tree doing that now. All bud no leaves. Do you think that might be the case? I hope not.
