| If the leaves stopped yellowing once it was repotted, I wonder if it dropped the flowers and spike to recover. Flowering takes a lot of energy, and if it needs to recover from root rot, it would make sense to drop the spike first. Watering once in 6 days, especially with a bark medium, does not seem to me to constitute overwatering. I've never had to spray for mites, so I don't have any advice on that. I'm sure others do. Good luck!

| By "stalk" I assume you mean the flower spike. Many spikes turn brown once flowering is done. Many remain green and eventually get buds on them. However, many stay green for very long periods of time with no buds at all. If a spike stays green I don't cut it but keep an eye on it. I have one plant that bloomed last summer who's spike stayed green from one whole blooming season to another and finally just recently got a bud on the end of it. |
