Dendrobium rennelli

Hello,

I have recently acquired a Dendrobium which I believe was D. rennelli a endemic species from Solomon Islands.

The plant has not flowered yet so I was not able to confirm species as yet. I would be grateful for information about this species including description etc

I have the Baker book on Dens. Looks like D. rennellii needs warm all year (72 to 74 nights, 86 to 88 days) and moist all year with only slight drying for 2 to 3 months in winter. 3000 to 4000 fc. High humidity, in the low 80s. Personally, I find that humidity is the easiest thing for most orchids to adapt to less than optimum of. Cynthia, Prescott, AZ

Well, you can probably get the Baker sheet for this for a buck or so. There is about a paragraph on the bulbs, leaves, and flowers. Or, you can wait a little bit, and when I have the time, I will type it up for you. Cynthia
