| Hi Lanna and welcome to the forum! If you could be so kind and update your location, this will be a big help to the rest of the gang on helping you out. First I suggest getting culture sheets for these guys at the AOS website. This will be a good place to start. Hopefully our paph guru will be on soon and can help you out with that beauty. The Catt could be repotted, but being in bud, I think I'd leave it for now until it blooms. Wait til it finishes blooming, then repot. It looks fine for now. The second one is and Oncidium Alliance (very gorgeous I might add) Do you have the name of it. Love the colors. These tend to be thirsty drinkers. Be sure to follow the sheets. We have lots of information here on the threads as well. So glad that you found us!!! ![]()

| lanna you can re pot your Catt into the next size pot up by looking at the leaves of your Paph it looks like it to me it has been getting to much light. I hope Kmarch sees this when he comes online also a good idea might be to download the AOS culture sheets as well. American Orchid Society - Orchids Yes I agree with Jenny there please update your Profile with your Location that will help us to understand your growing conditions and also with giving you the right advice. |

| The cat looks pretty big to be in a small pot. If it is actively growing a leaf and roots I would re-pot it in the next bigger pot. Can't say anthing about the Phaph as I keep killing the ones I get. LOL |

| I've been thinking about the Paph. It's hard to tell, just by looking at the pic, whats going on. I can't really tell if the yellowing leaves are on the blooming growth or on an old growth. Yellowing leaves are dying leaves but this may or may not symptoms of a problem as old paph leaves on old growths do eventually die off. The best time to repot paphs is after they bloom or in the spring if they're not in bloom as many of them have a growth spurt in spring. If the yellowing leaves are the oldest leaves of an old growth, I would not worry. If they are on a new growth, becareful of over watering and repot as soon as the bloom fades. Can you possibly post another pic that shows the plant more? What is the paph potted in? How often are oyu watering it?

| That looks like a nice healthy plant to me, I would agree with Kevin that it looks like old growth just dyeing away. The leaves are a good colour and shiny, a sign of a happy plant.

| Thanks for the additional pics, they're helpful. In my opinion the yellowing of your paph leaves are probably really nothing to worry about. While yellowing, they do not look like they're withering, rotting or anything especially nasty. In fact the plant looks quite healthy and vigorous in general. So leave the leaves be, repot when the flower fades (which may be a month or more), and once the leaves are brown and dead, you can remove them. Happy Growing!
