hi janice we don't have a chat room
if you have any questions you can start up a thread either in the newbie section or in the general chat section
if you are not 100% sure you can ask one of the forum staff members
you are doing the right thing with looking around the site
you will soon know how things work

Hi Janice, Welcome to the forum. I went to another forum and they were so stiff and formal (they knew a lot about orchids, though). If you want to learn among "normal"--well kind of normal--people this is the place Hope you enjoy your stay here as much as the rest of us do

Hi Janice, Don't worry, I'm new to forums, too, but everyone here has been very cordial and always prompt with answers to my questions. (Even the ones I think might be stupid!)

Welcome to the forum Janice.

Go ahead & ask any questions that you want & later you will find that your original question can lead to something new. You will enjoy your stay here. We have people from different countries sharing their ideas, information & the loves for these orchids.

Patlee,

Kindly remove the double inverted commas from the word "normal". Just say we are abnormal. It is normal for people to love each other but abnormal to love orchid the way we do.
