It looks like some kind of Cattleya hybrid.

Definetly has cattleya with probable Laelia. If the leaves are fleshy and erect, then
possibly a Brassiolaeliocattleya.

It reminds me (very much!) of Pot. (now Rolfeara) Hoku Gem. I grew the 'Freckles' clone a while ago.

It is a Blc (Bassovola Laelia Cattleya)

It is too narrow in the petals to be Hoku Gem and is certainly a Richard Muller hybrid. Richard Muller hybrids are very popular very strong and easy to grow.

From the photo I would say it is Blc Mem Beatrice Foster. The amount of spotting on the petals and septals can vary from some spots like my photo to none like your avatar which is what this plant looks like today outside my window.

Here is another hybrid in the same group, you can see the shape is the same and there is more spotting with the cullcutata added to the genes

Do you have a larger photo we could look at? I have attached two photos of my Pot. Hoku Gem 'Freckles' and would like to see better how it differs from the avatar. Thanks,

jeanne
