Is it possible for the plant to bloom a different color than it originally bloomed? This looks like it will have pink tips with a white flower. When it first bloomed it was all pink. |

| As for the color, I am not sure if this applies to all orchids but I know that some phrags can have different levels of color intensity depending on temperature of the plant during flower production. I believe that in Phrag bessae if it is cool then it will be a more brilliant color, if it is warmer then the flowers will be lighter or more faded. Maybe someone else can comment further on this. | Oh boy. I came home today....The leaves are starting to turn a light green color with a hint of yellow(not the new leaves) and the growth on the new leaf looks as if it has stopped and almost as if the bud is empty! What is going on here. Nothing has changed-same environment, same temp, same amount of water, etc. |

| You should stake the pseudobulbs to keep them growing upright. Many semi-miniature cats will grow in a basket shape if left to themselves. Older leaves dying after re-potting is usually a sign of root damage, but usually not significant to threaten the plant. If the roots ere damaged I would expect all the leaves on the old growth to eventually fall off. Your light levels may be a little low for Cattleya and adding a little stress to the plant.
