Orchid names

How could I do a name check on:

LC Miva Royal Chocolate "Delice"

I've just bought one, but that whole thing in google gives only gobble-de-gook

Thanks in advance,

Tom499

Hi Tom,
I found one site that was in German for it's culture. When I translated it, it basically
said to treat it like any Catt. culture. 15-22 C at night, 25-29 C day temps. Bright light
in winter with sheltered southern exposure in summer. Here is a link with pics of the blooms. Scroll down a little, it has some nice pics.

Wow I like the red colour Sounds like easy enough culture

I sorta bought another one

C Valewood x LC Log Cabin AM/AOS

I will check out foreign sites and see if i can find a photo.

Having finally figured out RHS website, this other one is not registered.

It cost me £10 and has 10 psbulbs, with new growth, so I HAD to have it! Ebay is great hehehe..

Thanks again Tobi

Hi Tom:

I put "miva royal" (including quotes) in the google search engine, and it came up with a few hits. I have found that less is more when searching; the quotes keeps the words together in the search with Google. In RHS, I never put the genus into the search, and only part of the grex name in case of misspellings.

The plant is now known as Guarisophleya Miva Royal Chocolate 'Delice' due to name changes; by any name, your new plant is a beauty! Also, Lc. Log Cabin is now Sc. Log Cabin. I found these in OrchidWiz and RHS.

Enjoy your plants,

jeanne
