Should I be worried?

I recently bought a few dendrobiums and on one of them the leaves have some spots. Should I be concerned?

Don't worry. Be HAPPY.
A few misc. spots like this will not be an issue. Eventually they will yellow and fall off - which is normal for dends.

Don't let the leaf stay damp overnight and theres nothing to worry about As Mayres said, it'll fall off eventually.

I see a slight yellowing in between the inside boundary and the green in the darkened area at the back.

Is it soft to the touch? The spot in the foreground seems quite dry and hence harmless.

That leaf in your hand looks like the leaf got against something hot. Could be sun bun, as I have had something like this when a leaf touched a window where the diffuse nature of the Greenhouse covering fails to diffuse so close to the GH covering.

I agree with Cynthia. I had some of my Phals outside this summer, and even on a covered porch they got too much sun. They look just like the big, elongated area on the edge of your leaf Not to worry though. Sunburn looks worse than it is ( I keep telling myself!) and in time the leaf will just drop off...

I agree. It looks like sunburn or mechanical damage. Bill
