Tommy: You have great patience to wait all these years for a bloom. The Phal's a very pretty color - don't know what it is but I'd also be happy to have a flower after all these years and the bonus of some keikis for new plants. I'm excited about your Paph. Be sure to post a pic when the flowers are opened. Good growing

Hi Tommy!
Looks like I have one similar to yours, color in reality is much darker, magenta, but plant appearance and leaves look exactly the same. Mine is NOID too, but when I was trying to ID it I found several, for example Dtps. Purple Gem 'B#1' (Miniature) from Orchids by Hausermann, another with name Dtps. Pixie Star, some others. In any case there is Doritis pulcherimma in this hybrid, and they need a bit more sun to flower than regular phals, and are very prone to producing basal and usual keikis. Mine just finished to flower (I have bought it in flower) and now is growing new leaf. But if the flower size of yours isn't small, I can be mistaken...

well that's comforting; i have a hilo lip that i've had for 3 or 4 years now that has never bloomed for me; i was planning to give it away at the next plant swap. maybe it will bloom after all...
