Exclamation Mold on compot in a dome!

A week ago, I deflasked Catt. seedlings and placed them in a compot dome. This morning, I noticed small green and white splotches (i.e. mold) on the agar (per instructions, it was recommended to be not disturbed along with the seedlings). I followed the instructions (e.g. leave dome open 1/2, etc.) included with the starter kit. I really don't want to disturb the seedlings much. How can I rid of or treat the growing mold on the agar?

By the way, this is my first deflasking. Therefore, I'm a newbie on this and hope I posted in the right place.

arlene - with mine they were in flask when the mold appeared. I did an emergency deflasking and removed all the agar. Is it possible to get a little tea spoon and scoop out the mold gently?

Arlene how long have they been out of the flask? If you can post a picture to get an idea as to how big the seedlings are it would be helpful. if they look like they are doing well I would rinse then in room temp water till the auger is off, then put them in a diluted bath of Physan 20 for about 10 minutes then place them on a paper towel while you setup a new pot with fresh mix don’t use anything from the old pot. For the first month I water all new seedlings with Physan once a week. You should be fine at that point.hope this helps

Vivienne -- I thought about scooping it out and might just do that.

Joe -- I would repot them right now, but I'm getting ready to go away for the weekend (taking a short break right now). Plus, I don't have any seedling mix. Sphag doesn't agree with me. Basically, I don't have the time to get any of that stuff ready and potted. I hope they'll be fine when I return on Monday. For now, I'll try to scoop the affected agar as much as possible.
