black spots on leaves???

Hi. I'm new here. I've started an orchid collection and have 6 or 7 plants. I buy them (rescue them) from the clearance cart at my local grocery store where I get them for $2 to $5. Cool right? Anyway, I bought one little sad orchid and it has black spots on it's leaves. My other orchids are doing quite well...two are flowering!!
Can you tell me what the black is and if it's (1) treatable and 2) contagious to my other orchids?

Welcome magflower. There are lots of helpful folks here who will be able to answer your question... but most will ask to see a picture. Are you able to take and post a pic of the black spots?

yes I have a camera and will repost the question with a picture later. I have to get to work right now.
I'm from NY but I live in Atlanta.
Is it possible to make a profile?

Yes you can look at the top left of a page and see User Settings click that and you will go to another page and you will see on the left hand side Control Panel scroll down to Edit Profile click edit profile you will be taken to the page, scroll down the page to the Additional Information section and you can fill in your Location, Interests and Occupation.
