| Congrats. on your new orchid Peggy. I would be a little leary about a southeast exposure. You want to give it light but not direct sunlight. An eastern to NE exposure would probably be the best. As far as SH growing, I found out that several of the long time growers in my area that have used this are starting to move away from it. I will be attending my orchid society meeting this Monday and hopefully will get a chance to chat with them to find out why. I'll keep you posted if I find out anything. |

| Hi. Ok...I'll move it. After I posted my question I read the Paph culture post (why didn't I do that first?????) and thought I might have it in too much sun...its the Phrags that like more sun, huh? Got one of those coming too!!! Please do keep me posted. I won't do any replanting until I hear more opinions... I know I will have a long wait, but all the older ones I saw were REALLY expensive...I didn't want to plunk out all that money and then not be able to grow it...have to see how I do with this one first. At least I have good help now!! Thanks, Peggy |
