yet another vanda question!

is it okay if a vanda is hanging and the wind twirls it around?? or should it be more stable?? thanks...

With the little experience I have with Vandas I don't think it matters as long as the air is reasonably humid and there are no other objects close by to bruise or break the roots (or leaves) or hurt them in any other way.

But I think you could wait,and it will be safer, for more advice from others.

I would agree totally with pikevi, a light wind is what you need to keep the air fresh around the plant, as long as the plant isnt flying around and what not It'll be fine

Flaorchid, there is nothing wrong with wind as long as you can replace the humidity the wind inevitably takes away. The worst damage my vandas received in strong wind are split ends of the leaves. No other damage done.

My assessment, wind okay as long as you compensate for the dehydration.
