| My experience with phal leaves is that yes they will regain some of their turgor/rigidness - but they never stick up and slightly up like leaves that were never floppy to begin with - in other words, they usually remain in the floppy position (more or less), but they become more firm - not spongy like very floppy water starved leaves. |

| I usually just ignor it. I do not see them plump enough to be meaningful, which for me is good enough to sell. I just put them on the shelf and in a year most of the leaves fall off and are replaced by new ones.

| none of the leaves on my phals ever "plump back up" and instead just gradually worsen and wrinkle more until they turn yellow and die, at which point i cut them off. the new growth (roots and leaves) coming in always is firm, erect, and a deep green colour, which tells me they are doing well! as long as your plants are putting out new growth, any older leaves which die (and they do die-off naturally too) are not a huge concern. |
