Wow, the Ascocenda looks great. I have an Ascda. which is so small I am sure it will take years for it to bloom.

Great plants and very nice photography.

I think when you get new growth in Paph. it will lead to new blooms or so I read somewhere.

Good luck with the new blooms.

Nicely grown Tommy - they all look very healthy!! I just received my first Vanda and Ascocenda - the vanda is not in good shape. Seeing that you have been able to bring yours back, it gives me hope!

Paphs are the one orchid that does not have a bloom season time. They can bloom anytime they want and can unfortunately skip years.

The plant growth that was in bloom will not bloom again and normally dies off, so do not be concerned if leaves yellow and die on that part.

You seem to have two new growths, which is where the new flowers will originate.

I am so jealous of that ascen. I have two Vanda's which are making leaves and roots, but arent flowering

Think im gonna have to put some old TV dishes covered in foil under them, try and boost the light in the greenhouse

You got it form one of my posts pikevi. Paphs often begin to grow new growths and flower spikes at about the same time.

Tommy, With respect to Jerry's expertise and experience, I do find that many Paphs will bloom seasonally in winter/spring, especially those that prefer ot grow cool, though some will just bloom whenever they feel like it.

Thank you, kmarch. I am sorry that I did not remember where I got the info from. I have been gathering as much info on orchids as possible and I can't remember the sources.
