I bought a Vanda Miss Joaquim plantlet from my recent visit to Singapore.
Which plant food it likes best?
What are the water requirement?
When it will flower. I am staying in Mumbai, India.

mmmm, I love this Vanda.
You are in luck, this Vanda is the beloved orchid of Singapore because it is very vigorous growing and hardy, and evokes great pride to them.
This orchid will get big 4'-5' easy and will need a support of some kind, but for now give it enough light to keep it growing, no direct light!
depending on the size as it get bigger you can give more light until full size all the direct light it can handle short of burnning the pencil type leaves.
watering will be determined by your tempeture.
If it is hot water it daily allowing it to dry naturely.
the growing medium must allow for fast draining.

argh I've wanted a Miss Joaquin for a long time. Where did you buy yours Michael_Exler? I can only find vanda teres, but not Miss Joaquim.

I got it at a flea market from a Laosian lady in St petersburg FL.
I lucked apon it really.
