| Green roots, is this okay? Two phals and a dendrobium -- roots are green. They are firm, not mushy, not brown, but not silver with a green tip -- all of the roots are light greenish. What does this mean? Plants look good. One of them had wilted, dark green leaves when I bought it (in full bloom) and it now has nice, stiff, lighter green leaves (still in full bloom). I am REALLY new to orchids. |

| Green roots are not only ok, but they're IDEAL! It means they're healthy. If they're all green it also probably means they are moist and that the outer layer of the roots is soaked up with moisture.
