| Repotting & Feeding Hi, I have heard that you should not fertilize an orchid for a month or 2 after you repot in order to give the roots a chance to grow and establish themselves 1. Is this true? 2. If it is does it apply to all genus or does it depend on the type? |

| Re-potting stresses roots so avoiding fertilizer is not a bad decision. The lack of fertilizer will not hurt the plant as orchids need very little fertilizer anyway. You can use rooting hormones like SuperThrive or organic microbes like Worm Tea. I have used both and like the results. (chose one or the other not necessarily both)
