I looooove your Den! I've got one potted up that I purchased at Lowes. How long of a winter rest do you give yours?

Also, its now called Dendrobium lindleyi.

Thanks, I was wondering how long to let it sit. I started mine in November... Still no sign of spikes, though.

Bearded, has it bloomed before? Aksing because it might be to young. Or it could be becase its rest period to short, and next question... How much light are you giving it ?

Giving it Vanda light (no sunburn yet) and it is going on three months of dry rest. I'm not sure if it's bloomed before or not so maybe it isn't old enough? It has about 15 PBs, though.

Interesting.... Hummm...mine that rest are for the past month now have been putting out one or 2 new growths of other types of Dens (I do not have this particular one as of yet) but they seem to cycle together so I find it interesting . Maybe Brooke or Renee or maybe katrina can shed more light on this one for you. It may be the growths are to young still even if you have many or was it divided recently? How long have you had it ?? It may be adjusting or something taking its time. I've given some of my resters sips of water here and there. I've got lots of new roots too on them growing also will be regualr watering again soon by what they are showing me. So hopefully with all of us we can figure out what yours is doing lol (taking its sweet time it appears to me lol) its curious though
