| A picture showing the entire plant would be useful. The browning ps.bulb does not seem to die from the old age, and the new growth is so small and weak as if the sick bulb would try to survive through it. I might be wrong... An expert opinion needed !!!

| You say the dying bulb is hard? It's not black or mushy right? If it is dry and hard I think I personally would be inclined to leave it until the new growth is established. If the dying bulb is mushy or grey or black I might try to cut it off. The complication is that the new growth is probably using the reserve energy of the bulb. Any Brassia experts out there? |

| Thanks for the respone. Most of the plants I bought a fortnight ago had some problems. Aniko: I am attaching a photo of the whole plant. kmarch: yes, the bulb is hard but does pit on pressure, but very slightly though. Thanks |
