Posting a new thread

Hi, having some trouble posting a new thread i get it all typed and try to add pictures and it all goes away. I have posted for a long time never had this problem before. could it be my antivirus program Thanks Tommy

Tommy - does this happen only here? and does this happen before or after you preview your post? I'll assume you're on a windows system - may I ask which one? XP, Vista, etc??

Yes only happens here haven't had any trouble any where else so far, i use windows Xp.it only happens when i try to upload pictures to add to my post Thanks Tommy

Tommy - have you deleted your cookies/cache lately? Don't rely on window programs to do their jobs correctly

Most anti virus programs are "usually" set by default to allow outgoing info to the world wide web - unless you have locked it down yourself

Check the size of your photo, there is limits on size and I commonly use JPEG at about 100 to 140KB with no problems
I think if you check the icon list of sizes JPEG is max 140kb.

...a good rule of thumb to remember is to keep 2 browsers (for us Window users lol) - if one browser (i.e. Internet Explorer) goes wonky - then switch to the other!

I use primarily firefox

I agree. I use Firefox and Chrome. Sometimes I can't access the forum with Chrome so then I use firefox.
