v. pachara delight - help!!!

I live near Atlanta, GA and bought a v. pachara delight plant this summer. Over the past 3 weeks the leaves have started to turn yellow from the bottom most leaf and working its way up. HELP! I am unsure if I am watering too much or not enough...

Thank you in advance,

mj8539

It might be helpful to post pictures, if possible, and list other conditions, too. Sunlight, watering frequency, temps, humidity, fertilizer (how often and type), etc. Good luck!

I'd guess that you are under watering your Vanda. You have probably seen a big drop in relative humidity with the cooler weather.

Hello mj8539, and welcome!

You need to have 5 posts before you can post pictures. Just make a few comments in this or another thread until you reach 5, and then you should be able to post, and thus get better comments on your question.

I also noticed some black spots here and there on some of the leaves ... hoping to post pics after a couple more posts.

I've never been particularly successful with Vandas, but regarding plants in general, the yellowing of leaves from the bottom up is often a sign of overwatering. I suppose it could be other things, but that's all I know.
