How to Post Images

When posting, go to the bottom of the the posting section and you'll see a button called "Go Advanced", click on that button, scoll down a little and there is a link called "Manager Attachments", click on this and you are set to go.

There is a list showing the formats that you can upload and what size they have to be. Generally most images are jpegs and can be 700 pixels, longest dimension.

Usually if you set your digital camera to a lower resolution you can upload them with little fuss by clicking on the "Choose Files" and navigate to where you have your images stored on your hard drive, then click "Upload", and wait until you get an icon of your image showing, then repeat if you have more to upload. You can upload a maximum of 5 images per post.

Finally, click on "Submit Reply" or "Send" depending on whether you are answering a post, or starting a new thread.

This is by far the easiest method.

There is a second method used if you have your images on a PHOTO Website such as Flicker. I have tried this method without luck, maybe someone else who mhas done it can help here. Personally I think the method I have mentioned here is the most reliable.

Can't upload Atavar

I regret being a pain, but I am unable to upload an image to accompany my messages. The image in question is 150 x 150 pixels in JPG format and appears on the setup screen. However, when I try to save the change, there is an error message saying 'Upload failed'. Can you tell me what the problem might be?

Thanks,

Les

I had that message too when trying to do an avatar. Ran through it again and got the same. However, my picture still came through. Maybe try again.
(and I am not very computer literate at all) A member friend from Belgium gave me step by step instructions to post a picture and from there I learned how to post the avatar. Maybe it is too small? I'm sure someone will pop in here to help you better than I can.
