| Looks like some mighty healthy older phals - we don't get to see pics of more mature plants often - very nice! Give us another post at full bloom if you don't mind...... |
| ||||
| Congratulations! You have huge and beautiful phals, they seem to be very healthy. With proper care, they will make you happy.

| Glitter, your plants are beautiful, how long have you had them? Mine are miniatures, and most of them babies, so I won't be having a plant like those for a while (gonna have to buy some orchids whoo-hoo). I am envious lol.

| yep, they look fat and happy to me too. keep note of the plants in the store, and if they don't sell before all the flowers fade, the store will often knock the price down and sell them as out of blooms. i've gotten a couple good ones that way. |

| hey again glitter, I must say you were incredibly fortunate to walk into a grocery store and find those, for that price even. Those are very nice mature plants. I would definitely be returning myself for the droopy ones, just to get some nice mature phals for my collection. I am jealous, and wish I had a grocery store like that around, but alas, I live in the sticks, so I will have to content myself with ordering online. I am predicting you are gonna have some work in the future making all those orchids happy! I will let you know when I get some pics of my little ones, have some on my cell, but am a little tech illiterate. Gonna have to borrow a digital cam before my blooms are gone on my phal, mine is broken (I have a very curious 9 year old). My Mini catts won't bloom for a while, but I am happy to announce that they have new growth and are gettin big (for mini's 'giggle'). Not too bad considering they were shipped bare root, and looked liked a tiny bundle of fake leaves when they arrived. If you are like me I am bettin you stop and stare at those orchids about 101 times a day, I have become obsessed. I imagine my phal rolls it's eyes everytime I stop and examine the flowers to see if I am gettin bud blast! So far so good! Did I mention I am jealous!!!

| Glitter, Very nice. I got the very same one as a gift last year. Many spikes and lots of flowers. They got it from a local large super mart in this area. Looks like you don't necessarily have to get them from an orchid vendor to get a nice plant. |

| Oh so pretty, and I am still jealous. Just gorgeous.
