justloveorchids is on a distinguished road
miltoniopsis care to get them to flower ?

Having fathomed out that i have 2 Miltoniopsis Orchids can anyone tell me how to get one of them back into flower

I bought it in flower many many months ago and while my large phalenopsis are flowering again the miltoniopsis has not reflowered

One of the most common reasons for orchids not reflowering is not enough light. What kind are you giving yours? I have 5 of them myself and it has taken me awhile to figure out that they need more water than many other orchids as well - they are doing better with twice weekly watering.

hmm, the milts in a local greenhouse are only just now starting to spike; maybe it's not the right time of year yet. (--particularly if your plants had been force-bloomed out of season--it may take them a while to get back on their right cycle.)

Thank you i will water twice weekly and move them into conservatory for more light
