| I am not saying I am corrct, but if it were mine, I'd definitely pot on into a pot around 3" wider to allow for the extra growth that is occurring. Potting on is when you lift the whole plant out of the old pot, not disturb the root ball and put into the larger pot and then place potting mix around the edges between the pot and roots to keep it stable.

| Yes I agree a bigger pot would be a good idea. I have some of my Oncid,s in fine Bark and a few mounted as well. I have cork mounted and fren mounted with sphagnum moss. I hope this gives you some help |

| Thank you all. I was almost convinced it neede more room. But I had to confirm with you since two moves in less than two months for an already stressed plant was something I was concerned with. I will do it this weekend. Arleneg: Room for a two year growth will , I assume , be the same as what Anton said, a 3 " space between the plant and the inside of the pot. As I understand , you want me to keep all 15 PS and the new growths intact for now. |
