Mottled Leaves on Dendrobium

I'm hoping someone can help me with my dens.

Attached is a picture showing this mottling that spreads through the cane. Sometimes all the leaves eventually turn a mottled yellow and fall off. Mostly it stays mottled and flower spikes appear normal. I also noticed it seems to be spreading among other plants and have started cutting the affected canes off with a sterilized clipper and sealing with cinnamon. Have also sprayed Bayer 3-in 1 twice, the last time about 3 weeks ago.

The problem seemed to get worse since we're in winter and have had more rainy days e.g. once a week. But, roots should have been able to dry out between showers.

Is it possibly a virus? Appreciate any advice... I love my orchids and dread the thought of losing them.

I am not usually quick to suggest the possibility of a virus but in this case I think it would g=be a good idea to have this plant virus tested. It looks like the "mottling" is accompanied by an unusually rough or slightly deformed leaf. These 2 symptoms along with the leaf drop makes me think there is a good chance your plant is virused. I'd recommend having it tested.

Thanks to all of you for your quick replies.

I will isolate and look for a test immediately.
Although it's not what I wanted to hear, I appreciate your frank advice.
Wish me luck!

Mothergoose you mention in your first post that it seems to be spreading among other plants?

I would pull those out too and separate them until you are able to confirm virus or not.
