Question clueless to taking care of orchird, can you help?

Hello there!
I've just started growing a pot of orchid, Phalaenopsis orchid, I suppose and I'm quite confused how to take good care of it as to have it bloom next year.
Firstly, how long should I change the coconut hush? Should I ever change it? How long should I water the orchid? The leaves, should I cut them when they become large or just let them wither then remove? And well that's all for now.
thanks.

if you just got the plant from local store. It is time to change. It is hot and wet at your area . So you can change it to charcoal. Some where from 3 to 4 years. If your plant is a young plant as in it is still in sphag moss then you 6 more months to go.
watering when it is dry 1 to 2 time a day , depending on if you stay close to the sea or inland. Never cut the leave, it will drop by itself.
