Welcome to the boards! The easiest way to get a measure of humidity as well as temperature is to buy a meter that measures the maximum and minimum values for both temp and humidity. They are available online as well as at various garden supply and electronics stores. I have a couple; one is the Springfield Precisetemp, which is very small and simple to use, the other is by Acurite and has an indoor/outdoor feature. They are not very expensive. If you do a search for humidity meter, you should find something that will fill your needs.

I think you are in a perfect place to grow orchids. Orchids tend to addapt a little (some a lot) to what is provided for them.....Some brave people (like me) grow them in Colorado..... |

You live in humidity heaven - unless like me, you hate humidity. Orchids should love it there. Brooke |
