| I'd just put it in a good sized box (with lid) and go for it. As long as you are reasonably comfortable in your car the plants should make it as well. The main concern in a car would be an extended period of sunshine striking the leaves through the car window(s). If in a box this will be prevented. The box will also provide a buffer zone for short term temperature changes if you are partly in a cold climate and getting in and out of the car. |

| sounds good. what I'm worried about Is the temp change. I will be going from any where from the 20's and below to upper 60's. what can I do to keep It from going Into shock? |

| The heater in your car will keep both you and the Phal comfortable. You need to take it into a hotel with you. Overnight in the car will hurt it. The short trip from hotel to car will not hurt a plant if you keep it protected from the wind by putting it in a box or wrapping it in paper.

| thanxs so much for the Info. the trip will only take about ten hours and I think I can bug my new neighbor to let me keep my greenery at his house for a day or two |
