Unhappy Help

Hi, i am new to orchids, and computers. Had my orchid about a month now. The flowers are stunning, but mine are dropping off. Don't know what i am doing wrong. Bought some feed and i mist it now and again. Can anyone help a very sad wonnabee orchid grower?:

G'Day Judestar

Welcome to the forum, bud blast (flowers dropping off) can be caused by many things, firstly we need to know what type of orchid it is. If it has a tag on it put the name on here, and somebody will be able to advise you.

Cheers
Bernie

sounds like bud blast to me....but have you watered it? you said you have misted it a couple of times, but orchids need to be watered too....if its a phalaenopsis, it doesnt need to quite dry out, so watering thoroughly once a week usually does the trick....if it is in sphagnum moss, you might want to water ever ten days to two weeks....

You say you had your orchid about a month. Did you buy it while in bloom? If so, maybe the blooms are just spent and they are naturally falling off. Hard to say without more info. Welcome to the forum BTW.

Hi and welcome to the forum : )
Make 5 more posts and attach pics to thiS thread of your orchid so we can help you identify it and see if any problems we can identify to help you with it. Take a pic of plant and of the potting media to start if you can.

What kind or orchid did you buy?

Were the flowers in bud, or already in bloom.
If it was already in bloom, it may be the end of the blooming cycle, which is normal

You might not be doing anything wrong
