Will I need to get a new orchid?

So I bought an orchid three days ago and for whatever reason left it in my car. I went out there today and the ones that were bloomed have shriveled up and the ones that have not don't look so great. Will I just need to toss it and get a new one or will the shade, cool temperatures and water help it?

What kind of orchids did you get?
Most orchids are forgiving, and with TLC, you could nature them abck to health.
Also, where did you buy your orchids? See if there is a warrenty over them.

Whenever I get a new orchids most of the time the blooms just fades because of the heat inside the car in an open parking lot. But they always
bounce back in the next blooming. Dont toss it, if the only concern is wilted blooms not a problem get a new one in bloom.... if the plant may have been cooked in the car, i'd still try to salvage what i can... at any case, what do you expect asking if you need to get another orchid in this forum -- absolutely.... just grab whatever you can and dump them in the car, just remember to take them out of the car next time.
