Please help me identify this orchid!

I would be so appreciative if you could help me identify this orchid species. I believe it's a Cattleya, but haven't had any luck in finding the specific species. It may be a hybrid... ? Thank you!

I can't type in a url because I have less than five posts, so please copy and paste (minus the spaces): www . costarica . com /wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Colorful-Orchid.jpg

The url you've given is invalid...brings up 0 search results.

Make a few more posts...an introduction would be a good way to add a post...then post the pic and we'll be happy to help you.

Thanks, Steve! I appreciate it. Any idea on what it is? Someone else suggested it could be a Brassolaeliocattleya (Blc.) Yen 24 Carat x Oconee x Wachant, but that he wasn't at all sure.

It's a hybrid cattleya, most certainly an intergeneric. As such it will be impossible to positively ID.

Thanks for the help! Knowing for sure it's a hybrid is good enough for me.
