leaves yellowing

My phal orchids leaves were turning yellow and it only had two. Today the 2nd leaf fell off so i cut the stems, and proceeded to repot it (as the moss it was in was not looking good) the last leaf fell off (it was green). the roots look healthy there are several green firm ones....i cut off the mushy yellow ones. Is there anything i can do to help it recover?????

Is the plant in question the picture on your profile page? If so, I would toss it and buy a new one, even if it were to recover it could take a very long time...

At this point It sounds like you've done everything you can do, just give it excellent phal culture and hopefully it will recover. Some members have brought plants back from near dead. It's hard to say with your plant since there are no pictures but it might be possible.

Whittney, If you want to try to save it, try a little moist spag in a baggie with the orchid, close it up, and set it aside, maybe in about two to three weeks it will show some improvement. Then if you have to toss, you can say you really, really tried.
