Leaves

I found a beautiful orchid at Home Depot. It was yellow with purple spots and a magenta and orange center area. I was hesitating on buying it because of the leaves, but the beauty won me over. Anyways, the leaves appeared to have a few bug bites (but I re-potted the orchid and saw no bugs). There is also some white stuff (looks like chalk) on the leaves, and I've seen it on many orchids, but I'd just like to know what it is. One of the leaves was bent down which split it through the middle (though it's still holding on). Should I pull that leaf off? Thanks.

Can you post pics? It's nearly impossible to advise without being able to see precisely what you're referring to.

White chalk?
I can only think of two things that are white and common
1- hard water stain.
Often times, water left to dry on leaves with turn into a white stain of the leave. It easily comes off with a wipe of wet towel.

2- Mealy bug
these guys are often seem as white fluffy things that will harm your orchid. It should be treated for.

As for the leaf, Where is it? I wouldn't pull any leavs if they were still alive. But if its the bottom, maybe pull it or cut it so no infection from the scar.

but please add photo so we can be more certiain help you

If you can post picture, try this How To Upload Pictures and Post Them

Definitely not a mealy bug. Probably a hard water stain. The leaf that is bent is on the bottom. Should I just pull it off?

If it was i pull off if yellow

Now there's a bug bite on one of the flowers... can I spray it with pesticides?

Get some green florist adhesive tape and make a butterfly across the split. This can hold it for years. Make sure it's the adhesive type and not the waxy stretchy type of tape.

Should I cut the bloom that has the black dead tissue on it off above the little notch on the stem?

We really need to know what kind fo orchid you have. It's impossible to answer this question without knowing. Some orchids re-flower off old inflorescences, some don't. We can't advise without knowing what kind you have.
