Oncidium spikes per psuedobulb

I have observed that on my Oncidiums, each psuedobulb only produces two flower spikes (one on each side). Is this typical? I grow under flourescent lights on a homemade flower stand. The temperture stays constant at about 72 degrees, with a relative humidity of 35%.

Thanks for any replys.

If you can always get two you are doing well. Many times only one side will spike. Yep! Two is the max - one on each side as you have noted. Enjoy! Mike

Don't think the limit is 2. I have a Twinkle with 3.
