Question sweating cymbidium buds

I'm sure there is an easy answer, but couldn't find one anywhere. What does excessive (?) sticky sweating on buds mean? Does it indicate temp, light, food or a watering problem or other?

If you can not see any aphids around, this is a sign that your plant is happy. This sticky dew looking stuff in fact is sweet sap, secreted by the plant at the edges of the leaves or on buds.Nothing unusual .
Aniko.

Stickiness on leaves over a large area could mean mites, but not on buds as mites are chlorophyl eaters, something flowers don't have.

It is a natural event and a good sign. You may also find a number of ants begin to frequent the plant and eat this secretion. It is natures balance and not harmful to the plant.
