cymbidium newbie

i inherited one of my grandmother's cymbidium plants. i know the plant has to be over 10 years old and she gets beautiful blooms every year. she kept them outdoors in pasadena, CA (southern cal). I live in san francisco, so i wanted to move it indoors into my studio. i've had some success w/ my phals. does anyone have any experience with keeping cymbidiums indoors? if i put it next to the window should that be enough light? will the temp drop be enough if it's indoors?

Cymbidiums are much better off outdoors, even in San Francisco, I should think.

I agree with Cynthia. Cymbidiums will be better outdoors, especially in San Fran. I have relatives who have Cymbs in So. San Fran and Daly City. Their cymbs are outdoors and thriving.
