| Lots of sap on Foliage? I just inherited an Orchid from my parents. They bought it many years ago in Hawaii. I have no idea what the species is. The older Foliage has lots of sticky sap on the undersides of the leaves. The newer stalk has none. Is this normal. Or does this poor plant have a pest problem? Any info would be most welcome. |

| Can be a pest problem, indeed. Check for aphids. Sap in small droplets on the edge of the leaves or on the stems can be a sign of happiness of the plant, but your description suggest the presence of bugs. Aniko. |
