| Straightening is up to you. Strickly aesthetics. In nature they are probably just like yours. The keiki should have roots 2 to 3 or more inches long, tho it is the total root mass, not the length that works. Removing a keiki from a spike just requires a little manipulation with a slight tug to crack it free. Don't bother to use a tool. I say let the plant decide what it can handle. Enjoy your exceptional plant.

| Thank You!! Thanks so much for the reply, it confirmed what I was leaning towards but since I never had a Keiki produced before... well just wanted to be sure. Should I put it in a 3inch diam pot I already have with ample side drainage and breathing? Also is there any special needs the new keiki might need? It also has flower buds forming on it already.
