Thumbs down How can I bring my orchid back to life?

Hi, I'm a newbie. I once had a beautiful orchid plant but all that is left of it are these two little buds (see photo). It's presently attached to a piece of lava rock. How can I bring it back to life?

well, if someone handed it me, I'd surround the roots, & lava rock in moist sphagnum moss (from lowes garden center). and keep it in bright light, avoid sun for a few months, give it some mild fertilizer. and keep an eye on it.
It should put out new growth in a few months. i'm sure others here will chip in with more information. good luck

I can't tell from the picture if it is a leafless Catt or a leafless Dendrobium. It is important which. Do you have a name?
