I have a couple of Laelia anceps. Being native to Mexico, they like a dry winter, wet summer, so watering should be cut down considerably now for their winter rest, and no fertilizer until new growth starts in the spring. During growth, I suggest regular water (depending on your pot and medium), reasonable humidity level (not too dry), and weekly/weakly fertilizer.

And relatively high light, about 50% of full sun, and full early morning or late evening sun during cool to moderate weather. Water like a Cattleya, Skewer use for watering of orchids . Medium bark is always good, like a cattleya. Infact, look up Cattleya culture for these, except that they can take it much cooler than Catts and not object.
