Vanda lowest night temperature?

I'm trying to figure the best and lowest night temp. to keep my new greenhouse at. I have three denrobiums but lots of vandas and cattleyas in it. Mainly my larger and high light orchids. I checked my book and other info and came up with 55 degrees, lowest for most, but I've gotten differing info from different sources for vanda night temps. One site said never lower then 65 degrees for them. Others say they can handle the 55 or 60 degree range. I'm thinking 60 degrees would be best lowest temp to allow the greenhouse to get down to? Can anybody clear this up for me? Thanks!

For whatever it's worth, I keep my GH where the Vandas are about 60 at night and they do fine. In fact, some of them are putting out new spikes now, even with the short winter days. Maybe it's because they started actually getting more light when I took the shade cloth off.

I have had my temporary greenhouse (GH) at 61F around bench level for most of the last 4 years, and all the Vandas (a number of species and a few hybrids), Cattleyas, and Warm growing Dens have done well. I recently moved the temp up to 64F, not because of these plants, but because I have been collecting a great many species, and a lot of the warm growers, along with some of the Phals, have been looking a little stressed with regular nights at 61 so far this winter. At some point in the future, I will be moving these warm growers, not the above mentioned plants, into the basement under lights where the lights and the nearby furnace will keep them happy and then go back to the 61F night temp in the GH. Hang your warm growers to get some advantage of the rising warm air from your heater. However, some Vandas are not really 'warm' growers.
