Phal ID help please

Hello,

Can someone help me identify the name of this orchid I picked up today? Its a little more purple than the picture appears. In the center it is white and yellow. It also has deep purple horizontal stripes and dots in the center. Sorry for the very scientific description

It's a hybrid of some sort and as such it won't be possible to ID it. There are so many different Phal hybrids that look the same and offspring fo the same cross can look completely different.

But you do know it is a Phal which is all you need to know to give it the culture it needs and it sure is pretty so not having a name won't prevent you from enjoying it.

yeah, youre so right! Ill enjoy this one, its already one of my favorites, and I should have another bud opening in about 2 days. It has a total of 14, including the three open. They're also one of the biggest phal flowers I have...about 3.5".

You don't have to call it "Noid", Wallhoper. You can give it your very own name, like "Marilyn Monroe" or "Waxy Purple" or "Radiant Magenta". I always put my made-up names in quotes so I'll know it's not the actual name. I also call mine by a name that tells me what the flowers look like, but for people with more imagination the sky's the limit.

It doesn't really matter unless you ever wanted to show it.

It's a pretty one, and that's all that matters!
