Question New Acquistion! C.Chocolate Drop 'Volcano Queen'

I'm trying to find out the type, I think it is one of the cat' hybrids, anybody seen it before? It arrived in bloom, beautiful deep reddish brown flowers with the most luscious fragrance. I'm so excited, (knock on wood, please) I haven't lost any more plants. The bud stems growing from the flowered spikes on my last surviving phal are getting taller, and taller. But the buds don't seem to be getting more mature, everything is firm and green. My room temp is pretty constant 70 to 80. Do I need to do anything, besides have patience.

Yes, this is a very famous, popular Cattleya Alliance hybrid. The proper name for it is Cattlianthe Chocolate Drop 'Volcano Queen'. It's a primary hybrid between Cattleya guttata and Guarianthe aurantiaca.

The name is appropriate as the bloom is Yummy!! Sometimes a plant will sulk a little when it's relocated. Hopefully the buds wont blast. If they do, there's always the next blooming!
