Most definately. If you are new to orchids read about the culture needs here and other places on the internet - here is a good place to get a short concise list of how to grow them on the american orchid society website - http://www.aos.org/aos/orchids/page01.aspx

If an orchid fails to bloom it is almost always the result of too little light.

The light level varies with each type of orchid. Papheopdium (Lady Slippers) bloom with 900 foot candles of light. Oncidium 2000-2500 Dens 2500-3500 Cattleya 3500 Vandas 6-8000 Nobile Dendrobium 6-10,000.

There is a lot of previous questions about light levels and blooming. Search the forum for them. When you have a specific orchid feel free to ask again.
