| Wilsonara Help I have two Wilsonaras both in bark / diatomite / charcoal mix. They are watered whenever the medium appears dry. The problem is that both have droopy limp leaves. The leaves are not crinkled. I was told to treat them like Oncidiums so I let the mix dry before watering it again. Do wilsonara's require more water than most oncidiums? What are the rules in regards to mix and water? They are fed weakly weekly and get plenty of afternoon light. None of the leaves show any burn from too much sun. They sit on humidity trays and currently enjoying ranges of 60-75% during the 24 hour period. Any ideas? Suggestions?

| They should take treatment like other Oncidium but I find them to be a little stronger and easier to grow. All Oncidium types Wilsonara included grow aggressively and old leaves drop and fall off after a year or two. Usually I get twice as much new growth as I lose. The first year is the roughest as the plant gets used to the new home. I often lose all the old leaves on these and many orchids. It just gets better and seldom causes a plant to die.
