my orchids stopped flowering and died and i left them in their pots in my bathroom, i know see that they have new leaves forming and i'm not sure what to do: shoukd i feed them and on what? and when do they need re potting? thanks

What do you mean by died ? Did the flowers finally fall off or did the leaves too? If you could describe the orchid or put a picture on here for everyone to look at then it would help a lot on the advice you'll receive.

Go to the photo section of this board and see if you find a picture resembling the one you have.

Orchids are a tough lot and they'll recover nicely with some care.

Hi Rosemary, more information needed for help.
What type of orchids do you have ?Can you remember the name on the label or identify in our Photo identification guide ?

Also, a picture and description could help to make a good diagnosis.
I'm sure one of our experts will give you advise.(I'm just a beginner!)

hello....sorry the orchids i have are phalanopsis. They flowered for a few weeks, but the non of the leaves died in fact they look really healthy. They have started to grow some new leaves also. Do i have to do anything for them to re flower? Thank you

Which is most important for blooming...light or temp. difference??

However, if your plant has just finished blooming, it may not have the energy to bloom again so soon. You may have to wait until next winter.
