Currently have a few paphs on the south windowsill of the house. I would like to put them in a fish tank (minus the fishes) Has anyone tried that out and how is it working for you? Thanks.... Last edited by jvarnadoe; 09-26-2006 at 06:52 PM. Reason: mistakes

I have not tried a paph in a fish tank, but I have 6-7 of them. They can be grown in phal-like environments fairly successfully. My main concern with putting them in a fish tank is whether they will get enough air circulation - if not that will encourage disease issues.

south is pretty strong light to begin with i might worry that the tank would intensify the light and raise the humidity too much. i have about 10 ( no xpert) but i grow them very close to a morning light window and have a few in bloom now. hope this helped
